CREATED & CLAIMED Session 2

Dear Parents,

Last weekend we started a brand new Small Group Series called Created & Claimed, a four-session video study on identity and Christian anthropology. Each week of this series we will have a parent sheet to let you know what is going on at youth group that week. You can read more and watch the trailer for the series at https://ydisciple.com/created-and-claimed/.

This Week's Parent Sheet:

Here is last week's that we forgot to send! SORRY!

We also have an exciting addition to our team! Study after study shows that parents (that's you) are the primary influencer of teenagers’ faith lives. No program can replace you, but ministries often relegate parents to chaperones and snack providers. So we have brought a parent, Kim Pickup onto our team as our Parent Navigator. As a parent herself, Kim is much more intune with the needs of parents than I am (A single 22 year old male). Kim's role is to help the parents of the youth attending youth group to feel connected to Holy Trinity Parish by being a friendly face at Mass, providing updates on youth group events, and act as the point person between the Metanoia Youth Ministry Team and Parents. If you ever have a question about how you might be able to get involved in the Parish, a question about having faith conversations with your kids, or a question that only another parent can answer, feel free to reach out to Kim!

Text Kim at 902-717-5002 and she will be happy to help!

ALSO: Be sure to sign up to receive text messages by texting "Join" to +1 (833) 253-3042 and we will keep you up to date with everything from Youth Group!

Have a blessed week!Alex
