Did you know your refundable recycling can directly support Metanoia Youth Ministry?
You can support us by donating your bottles at O’Connell’s Recycling (15 Sackville Cross Road, Lower Sackville – formerly Fader’s Bottle Exchange). Mention that your donation is for Holy Trinity Youth when dropping them off!
In 2025 we collected over 2000 bottles/cans through this program earning $112.50! (that's almost 1000 chicken nuggets for those of you counting at home)
What is NOT accepted?
Animal milk and animal milk products*
Soya beverage products
Rice beverage products
Meal replacement beverages
(only those clearly labeled as a “Meal Replacement”)
Formulated liquid diets **
(only those clearly labeled as a “Formulated Liquid Diet”)
Liquid foods for low energy diets **
All baby formulas
All beverage concentrates
(require water or other beverage mix to dilute before drinking)
Wine making kits
All non-alcoholic beverages in containers 5-litres or greater
All “Return for Refund” labeled containers not purchased in Nova Scotia
*If milk is listed as the first ingredient, it is exempt from the program
