Hi! My name is Claire, I’m 14 years old, and this will be my second year attending Steubenville Atlantic. This summer, I’m also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to attend Franciscan LEAD—a weeklong faith and leadership program that takes place just before the conference. I'm really excited to grow as a leader, deepen my relationship with Christ, and build meaningful friendships with other young Catholics. I'm actively involved in our Metanoia Youth Ministry here at Holy Trinity Parish. I’ve helped lead small groups during the Alpha Youth Series and continue to support group discussions and prayer. This Lent, I also sang at the Good Friday Family Stations of the Cross with other youth from our group. Outside of church, I’m a paddler at Maskwa Aquatics Club. This is my third year kayaking, and I’ve competed in three championship events—earning gold, silver, and bronze in team races. I also won a national bronze medal in senior women’s war canoe and placed first last fall in the U14 girls long-distance 21 km regatta. At school, I love Physical Education and Science. I recently applied to be a grade 9 student council rep, and a few months ago, a friend and I ran an eight-week Youth Alpha Series at our school—an amazing experience! I’m also a Corporal in Cadet Squadron 342 Bedford Lions and enjoy activities like gliding and overnight camping trips with them. Thank you so much for your support and prayers!
