Parent Letter: February 22, 2026

Dear Parents,

This past week we began our annual observance of Lent, a time for us to follow the ancient practices of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving. We talked about Lent tonight at Youth Group and we prayed about what we could do during this season to prepare our hearts for Easter. Check out our website at metanoiaym.ca/c/lent for ideas!

If you missed our letter from last week, we shared an upcoming change to our Youth Ministry Team here at Holy Trinity Parish. Please read that announcement on our website at metanoiaym.ca/post/letter-to-parents-february-15-2026

We have a few spots left for the Steubenville Atlantic Conference from July 10-12, 2026 at Dalhousie University! Steubenville Atlantic is 3-day Catholic conference for high school teens to encounter Christ through Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacraments, dynamic sessions, and small group time. Tens of thousands of devout Catholics around the world will tell you their lives changed when they met Jesus at a Steubenville Conference. If you’d like to come to Steubenville Atlantic with our Parish this year, please contact Simon at simon@holytrinityns.ca

Be sure to sign up to receive text messages by texting "Join" to +1 (833) 253-3042 and we will keep you up to date with everything from Youth Group!
