Knights of Columbus Scholarship 2025

Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization made up of hundreds of thousands of Catholic men – lay and clerical – in the United States and Canada as well as in several other Western countries.

The organization is founded on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The members have adopted the four principles as those which govern their own personal lives.

They are constantly striving to combine their principles with positive and practical

actions.

Among the many activities in which the Knights are involved is the education of young people. The scholarship program of the Nova Scotia State Council is but one of the tangible examples of the interest and the support of that education. The primary aim of this education program is to assist promising Catholic youth of good character and of high moral standards who are deserving and in need of financial assistance to continue their studies at the post-secondary level. Studies may be pursued at any legally and State Council approved University, College, or Community College beyond the secondary level in the world.
