My name is Tess Raymond and I am a third year university student studying Criminology at Saint Mary’s university in Halifax. Outside leading with Metanoia Youth Ministry I spend my time playing rugby for the women’s varsity rugby team at Saint Mary's. This is my second year serving with MYM and I could not be more excited to come back!! Serving these kids and sharing my love for Jesus in the Catholic Church is one of my greatest joys. On Sunday nights at Metanoia I’m usually doing a couple different things like leading small groups, giving a talk, making and eating some yummy snacks, praying with the youth but one thing for sure is you’ll always find me in the game circle!!! I lead at Metanoia because I believe a relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in life. Learning to be loved by Jesus and love like Him is such a live giving experience. My hope for this year is that all the youth in our ministry would learn to love like Jesus and be loved by him more and more. I can’t wait to see you Sunday nights!!
