Serve like Jesus
October 2025
God has blessed you with unique gifts, and we want to invites you to use them to serve the youth of our Church. Jesus taught us that we are most like Him when we serve others.
"Only in Christ can men and women find answers to the ultimate questions that trouble them. Only in Christ can they fully understand their dignity as persons created and loved by God. Jesus Christ is "the only Son from the Father…full of grace and truth." - Pope Saint John Paul II
Metanoia Youth Ministry serves the Middle School and High School students of Holy Trinity Parish. Our Ministry is Rooted in Christ and focuses on Authentic Belonging for the young people of our Parish. We believe that we must put our Faith into Action and live out our Missionary Call to share the Gospel with the whole world. We believed that everyone is being called into a lifelong Relationship with Christ and we challenge one another to take the next step in discipleship, becoming more like Christ every day.
We are looking for Faith-filled, dedicated adults who bring teens to a joyful encounter with Jesus Christ in a vibrant Catholic community here at Holy Trinity Parish.
24% of young people without adult mentors say they never feel their lives have meaning and purpose. Just one adult mentor drops that to 6%. (Evidence-Based Mentoring: Mentoring is Key for Lonely Gen Z)
We have three different opportunities for you to serve with Metanoia Youth Ministry's Middle School and High School Youth Groups.
Lead in youth group as a young adult or senior high school student and grow as a future Youth Ministry Leader. You would assist with small groups, shadow experienced leaders, and take on leadership responsibilities gradually while learning about youth ministry dynamics. (Leader in Training)
Handle the essential behind-the-scenes logistics: assist with administration, tracking expenses, preparing food for Youth Nights, coordinating supplies, and managing communications. (Support Team Member).
Help the parents of the youth attending youth group to feel connected to Holy Trinity Parish by being a friendly face at Mass, providing updates on youth group events, and act as the point person between the Metanoia Youth Ministry Team and Parents. (Parent Navigator).
You have an opportunity to engage with them during critical milestones in their lives.
From Middle School to High School
Will they continue to be Catholic after Confirmation and in High School?
From high school to post-secondary or the workforce
Will they stay Catholic as adults?
Recent pew research shows that religious disaffiliation typically happens between the ages of 15 and 29
We need to engage, catechize, and disciple young people and their families before they make life’s crucial decisions.

“You are the future of the world, the hope of the Church. You are my hope”. - Pope Saint John Paul II, October 16, 1978 Addressing the young people in Saint Peter's Square, moments after he was elected Pope.
